Pallet/Case Maker Assistant required to work as part of a family run business based in Northwich, Cheshire

Construction of wooden pallets and packing cases using nail guns and saws.

This is a 3 month temporary full time position looking to become permanent for the right applicant.

This would possibly suit a college leaver looking to move into woodworking/pallet making area of work.


You will assist the workshop manager in various tasks to enable efficient productivity to meet customer demands with the opportunity to learn new skills within the business.


Ideally you would have:
- previous case and pallet making experience would be preferable but full training and support will be given. ( measuring, cutting, using woodwork machinery)

  • Be comfortable using a variety of tools/saws.
  • Have excellent attention to detail, following instructions in a timely manner.
  • General Yard housekeeping duties
  • Follow health and safety compliances and standards at all times.
**Previous Nail gun and Saw experience is desirable but not essential.

Hours of work

9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Minimum Wage Salary

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months

Salary:
£7.49-£10.62 per hour
