Your Team
Join the Planning Team at Oxa, where you will contribute to designing, testing, and implementing the core engine that governs the behavior of Oxa's Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) in different scenarios.
Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Trajectory Planning, your responsibilities include developing algorithms to guide AV behaviors, planning trajectories, and ensuring smooth maneuvering while adhering to traffic regulations.
In This Role, You Will
- Collaborate with your Team Lead and teammates to address Spatio-Temporal motion planning challenges.
- Work closely with Decision Making and Controls teams for seamless maneuver execution.
- Contribute to creating high-quality functionality and APIs for on-vehicle capabilities.
- Develop metrics to assess planner performance on various AV platforms.
- Engage with stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Influence technical direction within the Planning Team.
- Document work, enhance features, and comprehend the business value of projects.
- Enhance product quality, customer experience, and team processes.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring new team members.
Requirements
- PhD or MS in related fields with hands-on experience in trajectory planning.
- Proficiency in optimization-based and sampling-based trajectory planning techniques.
- Expertise in modern C++ algorithm development and deployment.

- Familiarity with Dynamic Programming, model Predictive Control, and other advanced algorithms.
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and modeling, and proven adaptability in dynamic environments.
