We are looking for a highly motivated, committed, experienced registered nurse to work within our busy Gynaecology Outpatient Department.
Empathy, dignity, compassion, and patient safety are our priorities and we are looking for new members of the team to embrace these values and standards.
In gynaecology, as well as gynaecological oncology, we provide general clinics and speciality clinics in urogynaecology, menopause, vulval disorders, pelvic pain, colposcopy, outpatient hysteroscopy (including procedures) and urodynamics.
We are a recognised Endometriosis centre and offer many clinics to support this service. This role includes access to all these clinics so your knowledge and experience can be built upon. We have a well-equipped dedicated gynaecology theatre with a modern laparoscopic stack and access to Robotic surgery. The busy early pregnancy unit runs from our Gynaecology ward.
This is fixed term/secondment post until July 2025

You will be responsible for providing evidence-based practice, and will have responsibility for the development of care systems, protocols, and guidelines working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and developing excellent interdepartmental relationships with excellent communication with a focus on quality improvement.
You will lead and promote programs of health education and health promotion relevant to service and work within national policy frameworks relevant to the service and trust local guidance. We pride ourselves on supporting our staff. We offer a wide range of training and development opportunities, as well as flexible working options.
