Job description
An opportunity has arisen to join the TMA Bark production team as a Site Operative for our bagging/packaging operations.

The ideal applicant should be highly motivated, driven and able to work as part of a busy and pro-active team.

They should be resourceful with good initiative skills.

This is a full-time permanent position - 50 hours per week plus overtime. All daily rest periods are paid in full. Training will be provided for the range of machines and equipment used on site.

Some key tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Safely and efficiently operating forklift trucks to load and unload vehicles and machines.
  • Safely and efficiently operating busy product packaging lines.
  • Manually Hanging FIBC bulk bags on product filling line for packaging products.
  • Manually loading plastic sacks into an automated packaging line and offloading finished pallets.
  • Controlling and adjusting machine settings to start and/or maintain product packaging lines.
  • Monitoring product packaging lines.
  • Maintaining high product standards.
  • Working to production schedules and meeting production task deadlines as necessary.
  • Maintaining vehicles and machines used within the production process by conducting routine defect inspections and completing the relevant documentation.
  • Performing a range of basic maintenance tasks such as, but not limited to; greasing machines, maintaining the equipment's oil levels, changing wear parts, fuelling, cleaning filters and engine bays. Ensuring production vehicles and equipment are operating correctly and efficiently.
  • Cleaning and tidying workareas and production machines and equipment.

Job Types:

£13.00 per hour
