  • Support young people throughout their time at YMCA Mendip and South Somerset, aiding in progressing along the housing pathway to enhance their quality of life and independence.
  • Handle Housing Management tasks to deliver a holistic service, such as administrative work, rent collection, maintenance notifications, and ensuring a safe environment for all.

Requirements for the Role:
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
  • Demonstrate innovation, initiative, self-motivation, and effective workload planning.
  • Efficient recording and administrative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to work in stressful environments, be assertive, and manage conflicts constructively.
  • Team player mindset, supervisory skills, openness to feedback, and willingness to provide constructive criticism.
  • Active listening skills and a dedication to empowering young individuals.
  • Advocate for equal opportunities and non-judgemental practices.
  • Familiarity with support organizations for individuals aged 16-25.
