Experience the renowned Gaia Spa, award-winning Mayflower Brasserie, and the prestigious Àclèaf - Our Michelin Star Restaurant with four rosettes.
This position offers a starting wage of £11.50 per hour. Upon successfully completing the probation period, you will receive a raise to £12 per hour and £50 in 'love to Shop' vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external guests at the highest standard within the Hotel at all times.
- Ensure that the company's ethos is the driving force behind all tasks.
- Take ownership of your service section, completing tasks to the utmost standard.
- Guarantee all guests are warmly welcomed and receive top-notch hospitality and care throughout their stay, creating an unforgettable experience.
- Adhere to all hotel policies as outlined in the training manual.
- Efficiently serve food and beverages, meeting the 5-star standard set by the company.
- Stay updated on promotions and new products through training and briefings.
- Inform customers about promotions on our food and drink selections through training and self-study.
- Assist in setting up functions or events as per procedures.
- Complete tasks for functions or events as directed by your line manager.
- Maintain meticulous billing systems, process customer payments in line with company policy, and accurately handle all reception sales.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules, health and safety protocols, and food and hygiene regulations.
- Demonstrate high standards of financial and reporting diligence following company policy.
- Represent the company and yourself professionally at all times while associated with Boringdon Hall.
- Uphold the highest standards of personal presentation and hygiene while affiliated with Boringdon Hall.
- Comply with key legislation and policies.
- Minimize and handle complaints professionally following our policies.
- Maintain positive relationships with all hotel departments and communicate information effectively.
- Understand responsibilities regarding Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
- Perform any other necessary duties.
