Roehampton Gate School are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our support team We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the homes and will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance. This position is 20 hours per week, 43 weeks per year.

Roehampton Gate School (RGS) is a school for young people aged 9 -19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger's Syndrome and associated learning difficulties.

Main duties:

• Delivers and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
• Ensures that Aspris minimum standards are delivered in all home areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.
• Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or home manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
• Adopt new services that are already introduced within the group
• Use equipment efficiently, in order to gain a greater value for money

Communication During your role your working environment may involve interacting with our young people we support that may display varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties.

Organisation As well as supervising the staff team, you'll need to be confident and organised in record keeping, ensuring issues are logged on the internal computer systems and keeping up to date with routine maintenance checks.
