Are you an experienced EHS Co-ordinator living or working in the West Midlands?
Our client
Adler Pelzeris a worldwide leader in the automotive sector, design, engineering and manufacturing of acoustic and thermal components and systems.
The overall purpose of the EHS Co-ordinator role:
To advise and co-ordinate all EHS activities on site.
Role and responsibilities:
- To advise on all site safety and environmental issues.
- Coordinate actions where necessary to seal with site safety issues.
- Coordinate, and present where necessary, training activities relating to EHS matters.
- Coordinate the testing of fire alarms and all emergency equipment, maintaining the
- Dealing with Insurance matters, EL claims.
- Dealing with Accident reporting and investigation.
- Coordinate cleaning services on site.
- Liaison with landlords, local councils, contractors, and building surveyors.
- Assistant with all other relevant EHS matters.
- Ensure internal EHS Audits are carried out according to plan and support all external audit programmes.
Skills and qualifications:
- Excellent IT skills and general knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Nebosh Certificate level.
- IOSH.
- Internal Auditor for ISO14001.
Personal Skills:
- Organised methodical approach to role responsibilities.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Attention to detail in maintaining EHS records.
- Excellent communication skills, able to deal with all levels.
Hours of work and salary package:
- Salary £30K
- £35K DOE.
- Permanent role 40 hours/week based on site.
- There is a NEST Pension of 3% Employer and 5% Employee Contribution.
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 BH.
