Skilled Mig/tig Welder

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:45pm

Must be able to read 3rd and 1st angle drawings
Have the ability to work on your own and in a team.

Must be able to work with thin sheet, 1mm to 3mm and box section frames.

Producing sheet metal and box section enclosures, welding and dressing to a high standard, using the correct welding techniques to ensure the parts are produced to exacting measurements and kept square flat to drawing.

Experience of presses, lasers, guillotines, would be advantageous. Must be flexible and able to work overtime or shifts.

Qualified to City & Guilds standard or NVQ equivalent Level 3 in:

Fabrication and Welding - Sheet Metalworking (3 mm or less)


If you have experience as a Fabricator/Welder Charge hand, there is an opportunity for the right person to progress upto a Foreman position and onwards, if have the right attitude and skill set is displayed.
