Job Title: Commercial Team Member

Join our dynamic Commercial Team dedicated to managing all Commercial operations within our In-House Maintenance Service (IHMS). Your role is crucial in minimizing commercial risk and overseeing expenses.

As part of the team, you will collaborate on all IHMS aspects and subcontractor projects, from inception to financial closure. This involves generating purchase orders, supporting the Fleet and materials controller, and contributing to cost control within the job management systems.

At the core of our work are our valued customers, whose lives and home satisfaction are directly impacted by our repairs and maintenance services. We strive to deliver excellence in every service we provide.



What You Will Be Doing:
  • Assessing the performance of in-house maintenance departments and external contractors.
  • Driving continuous improvement and maintaining a culture centered on health, safety, environment, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing supplier and contractor relations to ensure effective commercial management.
  • Keeping documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Supporting the team in all financial aspects of IHMS and subcontractor projects.
  • Contributing to budget management and control.
  • Participating in necessary training sessions, one-to-ones, and appraisals.
  • Embracing challenges for personal growth and development.
  • Engaging with team members as needed.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year in a Commercial role, preferably in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Experience working within strict budgetary constraints in a fast-paced repairs and maintenance setting.
  • Familiarity with job management software, particularly Total Mobile.
  • Knowledge of the NHF schedule of rates and/or other cost recovery methods.
