It is essential that you are able to work during school term time with your holidays being taken at set weeks in the school holiday period.

You will not be able to choose your holiday weeks or have any annual leave during a school term.


We are extremely proud of our historic school and regard our cleaners as a key and valuable part of our school team, therefore we are looking for applicants who are hardworking, professional, well presented and able to uphold the high standards expected of all our staff.


As a member of staff who may work in proximity to children and young people, you will be required to undergo rigorous pre-employment checks including an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) check.

All the schools in our Trust are committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment, you will need to undertake regular training and fully understand your responsibilities for safeguarding our students.

The current hourly rate is £11.59 per hour. A local government pension is available, along with parking and some uniform items. All cleaning equipment is provided.
