Preston College are looking for a Lecturer to teach maths to learners on construction courses including plumbing and electrical. You will conduct assessments and tutorial activities both pastoral and academic.

You will plan and deliver both sessions, create and maintain schemes of work and plan assessments.

Working within the school of construction, you will be part of a large team to create a stimulating and energising learning environment that helps our learners achieve their goals.


What we are looking for


We are seeking someone who can establish open and trusting relationships with learners and develop learning materials that will help them contextualise maths for their industry, supporting them to achieve their qualifications and start a successful career.


A teaching qualification is desirable, but if you don't have one and are willing to work towards achieving one then we will support you to do so, both financially and academically.
