Working and co-operating with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the upholstery department and customer commitments are achieved.
Ability to understand a design brief in order to establish the most effective upholstery methods for producing each piece of furniture.
Proven soft seating upholstery skills and experience.Templating production expertise using diverse fabrics and materials.
Preparing the fabric for cutting out by spreading it out in flat layers, smoothing out creases and checking the fabric for faults.
Mastering the art of template production with a variety of fabrics and materials.Creating stunning upholstered products with precision and flair.
Cutting round the pattern using a computer controlled cutting machine, scissors, or a special electric knife.
Collaborating seamlessly with other departments for a smooth workflow.
Upholding the highest quality standards for all furniture produced.
Bringing design briefs to life, ensuring each piece is a masterpiece.
