Are you a Learning Disability nurse who is passionate about supporting people with a learning disability through an inpatient journey?

The Fife Learning Disability service has exciting opportunities for registered Learning Disability or Mental Health nurses to join them.

There are full & part time posts available across the inpatient service, covering Assessment and Treatment, Forensic and Bespoke care.
You will be responsible for assessing and supporting the health needs of people with a learning disability under the supervision and guidance a Senior Nurse.
The purpose of this post is to carry out.

• Comprehensive Health Care Assessments.

• Health Screening.

• Risk assessment

• Mental health assessment

• Multidisciplinary planning and treatment implementation

The minimum requirements

• Relevant 1st level nursing qualification Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities or Registered Mental Health nurse

• Knowledge of current legal frameworks to support inpatient care delivery

• Ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals and groups.

• Highly motivated and conscientious.

• Experience of care planning for complex health care needs.

• Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the Service.

• Knowledge of PBS

• Knowledge and understanding of risk assessment

You need to be a good team player and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of current evidence based
