Nursery Chef

Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity this could be it, we are looking for a nursery chef who will carter for young children across a busy nursery, approximately 30/40 children.

You be responsible for preparing health lunches, tea and snacks for the age range of children. For ordering the weekly shop, preparing menu's, ensure the kitchen is well stocked and budgeted.

You will be reasonable for ensuring that we keep our 5-star food hygiene rating and be confident in dealing with Food hygiene inspections.

We are looking for someone with a kind personality who is warm and welcoming towards children and has a strict attitude towards food safety, food hygiene and the understanding of the importance of cleaning and taking pride in their kitchen.

You would have good communication with management team, following company guidelines and policies to support and promote healthy eating and wellbeing.

What we can offer

Full time all year around Monday - Friday

Level 2 or above food hygiene or equivalent

Experience ideally within a child care setting/nursey or school but someone who has good understanding of allergies and food intolerance is essential.

DBS - required at employment stage. Covered by employer
