Highways Engineer

Location:

Central London with home working available Salary: 36k - 48k + benefits Emtech are working with an Engineering Consultancy who are looking for a Highways Engineer to join their London Civil Engineering team.

You will be working on a range of projects under the support of a Chartered Engineer.

Due to recent successes the team is growing and offers excellent opportunities for the right candidate seeking a new challenge within a growing company based in a great part of London.

You will form part of an existing team to deliver a varied programme of highway and transportation schemes for a wide range of public sector clients across both the local and strategic highway networks.

Key Responsibilities 2-5 years experience within a similar highway design role
Developing highway designs in accordance with the DMRB using AutoCAD or Civils 3D.
Production of technical reports as required
Undertaking S278 & S38 design work for development projects
Undertaking services within an engineering environment which may include (but not limited to); scheme investigation, site inspections, data collection and analysis, works/construction inspections and supervision to progress scheme design, development and construction
Management of work packages with scope to move up to managing small schemes

Client liaison as necessary to deliver the schemes/projectsOn offer is the chance to work in a great Central London location with further training and room to progress.
