Background


This role could be the ideal career opportunity for you if you have previously worked as a HR Administrator and are looking for a new challenge.

This is also an opportunity available to graduates who have completed practical work experience in human resources such as through a sandwich year or placement.

You will work with the Head of People Services to provide an effective HR support and advisory service to managers.


Main Purpose

  • Provide a comprehensive HR support service to management and employee across the organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide a high standard of first line advice and guidance to managers, staff, and volunteers across the organisation.
  • Support with investigation and formal hearings in relation is disciplinary, performance and grievance management including minute taking.
  • Support with absence management processes.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the HRIS.
  • Process a wide range of employment documents including contracts of employment.
  • Support managers to recruit and induct employees and volunteers through the use of fair and relevant recruitment methods.
  • Provide administrative support in relation to recruitment.
  • Undertake screening checks.

Person specification

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards
  • An understanding of relevant employment legislation and ACAS codes of practice
  • Previous experience of working in a HR generalist role
  • A drivers license is essential for this role due to location
