Skills required:

  • 4+ years' experience as a quantitative researcher preferable in systematic strategy development
  • Broad knowledge and experience of building reliable, performant, highly distributed and scalable research systems (e.g. back testing, simulation)
  • Strong development experience in Matlab, R and/or Python
  • Strong background in modeling large amounts of data
  • Ability to work effectively and independently as well as part of a team
  • Masters or PhD in a quantitative field such as Physics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science

Role description:

  • Research, develop and participate in all aspects of alpha modeling including data scouting, hypothesis generation, backtesting and production monitoring
  • Analyse large data sets using advanced statistical methods
  • Build and enhance the execution framework for live trading of futures and FX instruments
  • Focus throughout the day is on researching and implementing trading ideas
  • Working collaboratively with team members to automate all aspects of workflow in systematic trading
