Join our dedicated team at West Lodge, a recently established Children's Residential Home in St Ishmaels, Haverfordwest, committed to providing temporary residence for 10-18 year olds who have faced diverse adverse childhood experiences.
We are actively seeking skilled and compassionate Senior Support Workers to join our team, contributing to the delivery of a dynamic, person-centred service on an operational level.
In this pivotal role, you will assume designated responsibility for overseeing shifts at West Lodge, adhering to Care Inspectorate Wales regulations.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to deputise in the Manager's absence by agreement and report to the Responsible Individual.
Our team operates on an annualised rota basis, covering evenings, nights, and weekends, ensuring the ongoing provision of a consistently warm, safe, welcoming, happy, friendly, and nurturing environment at West Lodge.
To meet Care Inspectorate Wales standards, applicants should be at least 22 years old and hold an NVQ 3 in Caring for Children or Children and Young People, or demonstrate a willingness to work towards this qualification.
Anticipated interview date:
Friday 15th December 2023 (times to be scheduled).
