This is a hybrid role, based from either Hemel Hempstead or London (Blackfriars) - expectation is to be in the office, 1-2 days a week.

The Global Parts and Consumables Product & Pricing Manager is responsible for analyzing the market, identifying new spares and consumables offerings, and leading their definition, development, commercialization, launch, and marketing.

This role involves continuous optimization of pricing through refinement of market, commercial, and delivery approaches, tools, and processes.

The manager supports sales and service organizations by driving targeted projects to maximize income, market share, and profits, ensuring return on investment and improved customer satisfaction, while aligning with the Division and Group's overall portfolio strategy.


Commercial Strategy Deployment:
Collaborate with regional commercial, marketing, and services teams to deploy commercial strategies for spare parts and consumables sales.

Market Analysis:

Maintain a comprehensive view of market revenue, sales performance, margin, cost, discounts, customer feedback, competitor price points, price elasticity, risks, opportunities, and market developments.


Pricing Strategy Development:

Price Performance Review:
Manage periodic reviews of price performance, involving key stakeholders, making recommendations on price changes, and implementing decisions. Establish and report robust performance metrics.

Business Case Development:

Commercial Offering Optimization:

Define and optimize broader commercial aspects of offerings, including warranty, import/export controls, contractual terms, market channels, business models, and partnerships, ensuring global consistency.

Coordinate activities required for market launch, including technological, operational, sales, and promotional requirements.

Tool Implementation:

Implement tools for efficient spare part portfolio management, including e-commerce solutions, SAP pricing, electronic data links, e-pricing tools, and price lists.

Provide input on product development, evolution, and retirement across the lifecycle, ensuring optimal service business at each stage.
Contribute to short and long-term forecasts and budgets, working with sales, service, industry marketing teams, and finance.

Graduate-level qualification in business or technology; Master's degree preferable.

Development and marketing of complex equipment and service solutions for engineered products in a B2B/B2G setting.
Strong customer relationship building at a senior level.
Risk identification and communication with remedial actions for significant business impacts.
High-standard business reporting and assessment of commercial decisions.

Expertise in product management, marketing, and project management disciplines.
Understanding of commercial, logistical, and operational management of spare parts.

IT Systems:
Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems, price management software, and IT systems management.

Commercial Contracts:
Ability to review and understand commercial contracts.

Commercial Acumen:
Strong international business development and strategic planning skills.

Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze data, understand system limitations, and make effective decisions.

Leadership:
Ability to lead integrated project teams across multiple sites and countries, removing roadblocks, and taking ownership.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in English; a second language is advantageous.
