The role entails:

Triaging patient enquiries and providing follow up support to patients to ensure their care and recovery is taking place as planned.

Undertaking patient holistic needs assessments, and implementing responses in line with agreed pathways.

Providing administrative support to the Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist team, ensuring activity is collated, patient pathways are tracked, supporting patient education programmes, collating patient experience and supporting audit.

As such you should be able to demonstrate excellent IT literacy organisational and service management skills.

Meeting deadlines and targets with a flexible and adaptable approach to work. Working closely with staff across the hospital and other service providers. You will need to have a professional manner and an excellent standard of communication. Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team is essential.
