Description
Enhance your early years career with this fantastic opportunity working in a day nursery environment and caring for children. You will be supporting their learning and development through play and activities. A great role with lots of opportunities for development and a full time position available once apprenticeship is completed.
- Communicate well and be a good role model.
- Work as part of a team and Inspire outstanding practice.
- Act professionally in all situations.
- Have knowledge of the EYFS and Safeguarding requirements.
Keep records of their key children's assessments and observations and ensuring all other paperwork within the room is kept up to date (sleep & nappy charts, accident forms, risk assessments)
Training will be given.
Monday to Thursday 8.30am-3.00pm Friday 8.30am-12.30pm 30Hrs PW
Entry requirements
GCSE or equivalent Maths/English (Grade 4) desirable
You will need to hold a Level 2 in early years or equivalent qualification
Training to be provided
You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship. As you progress through your apprenticeship your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in childcare
Training will be a mix of face to face and online learning.
You will gain an Early years Level 3 qualification with a view to continuing onto further levels of apprenticeships and training.
Things to consider
This is a busy environment and you will be dancing, singing, playing, reading and generally having fun.
You will be tired at the end of your shift but happy in the knowledge you created a fun and safe environment for the children to flourish.
