Respond promptly and efficiently to all ambulance calls, to provide ambulance care for the sick and injured in the pre-hospital environment and to transport the patient to or from the appropriate medical facility, constantly monitoring the patient's condition at all times.

Communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, relatives, health professionals, and members of the public and other emergency services to ensure the best possible care for the patient is achieved.

Provide a high level of emergency care to patients within the scope of the Clinical Practice GuidelinesProvide comprehensive ambulance patient care in accordance with Operational Guidelines, Clinical Practice Guidelines, policies and work instructions.

Drive vehicles in a safe mannerMaintain all equipment and ensure vehicle is prepared, maintained and equippedEnsure vehicles and equipment are kept in a clean and operational state Necessary CriteriaCurrent AHPRA Qualifications - or ability to obtainBachelor of Science (Paramedicine)
