Job Summary:
The Barista is responsible for providing high-quality beverages and food items to customers.

They should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and be knowledgeable about coffee and tea brewing techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other highquality beverages
• Take customer orders, and handle cash and credit card transactions
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of all coffee, tea, and food items available for sale
• Prepare and serve food items as needed
• Uphold the company's brand standards and protocols
• Contribute to a positive and friendly atmosphere for customers and coworkers
• Work with team members to ensure items are properly stocked and cleaned at all times

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a customer service or food service position
• Knowledge of coffee and tea brewing techniques
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
• Highly organized and detailoriented
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and reach overhead

Qualifications:

• Passion for coffee and tea and willingness to continue learning about new products
• Ability to create latte art and other visually appealing drink presentations
• Experience using commercial espresso machines and other specialty coffee equipment
• Understanding of health and safety regulations regarding food and drink preparation
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to work in a teamoriented environment and collaborate with coworkers during busy periods
• Strong work ethic and dedication to providing excellent service to customers
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Experience using point of sale systems and cash handling procedures
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed

£11.00-£12.00 per hour
