Deputise the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence
Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift making sure everything runs like clockwork.
Making sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
A role model to the team on giving great service and making sure every customer receives a warm welcomeAn ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy shift
A mixture of face to face and skype/phone catch ups every - 6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress
A mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinars
The chance to get Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSE)
Pride in their work Support the Kitchen Manager Lead and guide the team Be compliant in all food safety aspects We will teach them about Carvery Stock control - line checks and analysis Food ordering when KM is on leave.
Personal qualitiesPassionate about developing your skills in the hospitality sector
High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Previous experience as a kitchen team leader, running a kitchen, or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
Ongoing training and development within Greene King as well as through the apprenticeship training programme.
Training to be delivered
Senior Production Chef Apprenticeship L3 including Functional Skills in Maths and English
