The Winchester Hotel & Spa has been one of Winchester's most popular destinations for weekend getaways and spa breaks for over 20 years.

The hotel consists of 96 bedrooms across four room types, a relaxing spa with a range of professional treatments as well as a refreshing pool and hot tub, flexible function rooms and a stylish bar and restaurant to enjoy throughout the day.


We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive and passionate **Cluster
People & Culture Administrator to join our Truly Talented team at the Winchester Hotel & Spa.


As a Cluster People & Culture Administrator you will be working alongside with Cluster People & Culture Manager supporting two hotels - Wichester Hotel & Spa and The Elvetham Hotel.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to, performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Complete all reference checks for any potential new hires.
  • Conduct daily walks and touch base with recent joiners to ensure they are settling in and enjoying their new role.
  • Ensure all personal files and HR system are constantly maintained with updated information.
  • Processing new starter contracts and uniform requirements.
  • Process leaver documentation ensuring communication via exit interviews are administered.
  • Complete wage adjustments and process contractual changes for job changes and promotions.
  • Support with absence reports, maternity/paternity documentation.
  • Key administrative tasks include management of the Payroll system (and all related systems/processes), ensuring accurate processing of monthly payroll related tasks, creating and maintaining filing systems and preparing for auditing.
  • Manage any pay queries or discrepancies, seeking appropriate resolution in a timely and efficient manner.
  • You will work alongside Head of Departments to ensure that all weekly timesheets are properly completed and logged. Any deductions or additional payments are accurately calculated and settled with colleagues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll input, processing, and payment for colleagues.
  • Assist with any other adhoc administrative tasks and hotel project work as required.
