JOB TITLE:

Join our team as an Instrument Maintenance Technician where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality of our gas production/processing and condensate storage facilities.

  • DEPARTMENT: Barrow Maintenance (Day shift role, 11-hour shifts 7 days on and 7 days off)
  • REPORTS TO: Instrument Maintenance Team Lead
JOB PURPOSE:

You will be responsible for carrying out both routine and non-routine maintenance tasks to guarantee the reliability and availability of our operational plant and equipment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Execute maintenance activities efficiently following agreed processes and procedures
  • Investigate technical issues, find solutions, and restore normal plant operation
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate records
  • Inspect and maintain instrumentation equipment in hazardous areas
  • Coordinate commissioning and de-commissioning activities
  • Liaise with operational/production staff and other Technicians for effective task management
  • Supervise staff and vendor/contractor employees
HSE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and possess the appropriate permits
  • Co-operate in accident prevention and environmental protection
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols
  • Report unsafe practices, environmental concerns, and incidents
  • Support a positive health, safety, and environmental culture
  • Maintain safety-critical elements
  • Support continuous improvement in environmental performance
  • Wear correct PPE, use tools and equipment appropriately
