This is an exciting opportunity to help build on the already established Joyce Grenfell Programme and lead scholarship, academic enquiry and intellectual curiosity across all aspects of school life.

The main aims of the role are:

To challenge and stretch our students and to develop their academic interests outside of the curriculum; this includes qualifications such as the EPQ, STEM Gold Award and the CISI Level 2 Qualification in financial servicesTo lead the enrichment programme including 'Inspire' lecture series and the 'Aspire' tutorial series where guest speakers lead challenging conversations about important academic matters outside of the curriculumTo lead our Oxbridge provision to ensure the very best and comprehensive support is given to those going through the application processTo collaborate with departments and subjects to ensure that there is a suitable range of academic challenge within the curriculum and across the full range of academic clubs and societies The successful candidate will also be required to teach approximately 60% of the teaching timetable in their subject.
