Student Brand Ambassador x- Edinburgh University
Black Rooster Peri Peri is seeking 2 x enthusiastic and outgoing Student Brand Ambassadors to join our team. As a Student Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of our brand on your university campus.

You will play a crucial role in promoting Black Rooster Peri Peri, increasing brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and generating excitement for our delicious peri peri chicken offerings.


Responsibilities:

1.

Brand Promotion:
Create and execute creative marketing strategies to promote Black Rooster Peri Peri among your peers and campus community. Utilise social media, word-of-mouth, and other relevant channels to build excitement around our brand.

2.

Event Planning:

Organise and host events, activations, and sampling sessions on campus to introduce Black Rooster Peri Peri to students and faculty.

Collaborate with campus clubs, halls of residence and organisations to maximise reach.

3.

Social Media Content:
Maintain the Black Rooster Peri Peri brand's social media presence on campus. Deliver engaging content and share updates on promotions and offers.

4.

Product Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of our menu offerings and special promotions to effectively communicate the unique qualities of Black Rooster Peri Peri to potential customers.


5.

Sales and Referrals:

Drive sales and generate new customers by encouraging your network to visit Black Rooster Peri Peri and download our exclusive Peri Perks app for students.


6.

Feedback Collection:
Gather feedback from customers to identify opportunities for improvement and relay valuable insights to the management team.

7.

Collaboration:
Work closely with your partner ambassador to create unified marketing efforts and support cross-promotional activities.

8.

Budget Management:


Working with your partner ambassador to decide on the best way to utilise the assigned marketing budget for your university.


9.

Representing Black Rooster Peri Peri:

Act as a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for the brand, ensuring that the values and image of Black Rooster Peri Peri are consistently upheld.


Requirements:

  • Enrolment as a full-time student at the university you wish to represent Black Rooster Peri Peri. Ideally we are looking for students in their 2nd year of study onwards
  • Passion for the food industry, particularly peri peri chicken, and a genuine interest in promoting our brand.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse audience.
  • Active presence on social media platforms and familiarity with digital marketing techniques.
  • Well-connected on campus within various student groups and organisations.
  • Proactive, creative, and resourceful with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate events and activations, as well as two initial training days and a monthly meet-up.
