An opportunity has arisen for an 8PA Consultant Paediatrician (or those within 6 months of completion of their CCT) to join our Team in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire.
The successful applicant will have clinical responsibility for neurodevelopmental and neuro-disability clinics within SE Hants and for a caseload of Children Looked After in Portsmouth.
The post also includes participation in the in-hours Child Protection rota with other senior doctors. Participation in the out-of-hours rota for forensic child sexual abuse will also be expected. This is currently 1:12 bank holidays and weekends 8.30am - 6pm.A lead role within the department will be negotiated depending on the interests and expertise of the successful applicant and the needs of the department.
