Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to support our service user with his complex care needs.


We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.


Our service user is an adult male who requires 2:1 and 1:1 support throughout the day and night in his adapted home in Bishops Auckland.


He is very sociable, enjoys getting out into the local community such as the theatres, cinema, concerts, and going shopping.


When at home he likes to relax by watching TV and films, using his iPad and computer and socialising with his family and care team.


You will be there to support his social well-being by actively engaging in activities that promote social interaction and community involvement as well as assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, and medication management, as needed.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • UK Driving Licence

Desirable Experience

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Oral suctioning
  • Gastrostomy Care (Peg Feeding)
  • Ventilation Management

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time Days
  • Minimum 18 hours per week
  • Between 11am10pm
  • Nights 10pm 7am
  • This includes short shift pop ins

Please note that training will be provided locally

Weekdays £11.00 per hour Approx. £143 per 13 hour shift

Weeknights £11.50 per hour Approx. £149.50 per 13 hour shift

Weekends £12.00 per hour Approx. £156 per 13 hour shift

Bank Holidays £13.00 per hour Approx. £169 per 13 hour shift
