About the role
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our team. This fully remote role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to our data infrastructure. As part of the team, you will collaborate with data engineers and analysts to develop and implement data pipelines.

Key responsibilities of the Mid-Level Data Engineer:

  • Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources.
  • Set up CI/CD workflows for data engineering projects.
  • Cleanse, transform, and validate data to ensure quality and consistency before loading it into data warehouses or lakes.
  • Optimize ETL processes for efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines and models.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ETL-related issues to maintain data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and engineers to understand data needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

About You
If you are a Mid-Level Data Engineer looking to grow in a fast-paced SaaS environment, here's what we're looking for:

  • 4-6 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles.
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD workflows for data projects.
  • Ability to use CI/CD tools to streamline data pipeline development.
  • Experience with ETL pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Luigi, Spark, or similar.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and query writing (e.g., T-SQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong focus on data quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and advancing data engineering skills.
