Role and responsibilities
We are an online decorating supplies marketplace for retail and trade customers. We're on a mission to make the decorating process as enjoyable as the end result. Helpful by design, we're that second opinion, the technical experts, the source of inspiration or education you've needed... and everything in-between.
We put our customers at the heart of everything we do which is proven through our 5* service rating and Feefo Platinum award.
We strive to provide an unparalleled and approachable support experience throughout the customer's journey with DCO.Responsibilities will include:
Customer Service
- Efficiently managing and processing customer queries and orders as received in a timely and professional manner including orders, refunds, partialrefunds, resending products etc.
- Efficiently processing returns made in line with our returns policy
- Delivering exceptional customer service to maintain customer satisfaction scores in line with the DCO customer charter
- Handling complaints promptly and aligned with our tone of voice and process, ensuring we exceed customer expectations even when an initial mistake has been made
Social Media Engagement
- Responding to messages daily and providing advice and guidance.
- Engaging with customers via comments and likes across all platforms
- Using tagged content for Instagram stories
- Using colour and product knowledge to help create sales via social media channels.
Facilitating order processing
- Printing and organising orders
- Keeping on top of order volume and ensuring good communication between the customer experience team and the warehouse team.
- Ensuring all orders leave us on time
- Assisting the team with stock management and flagging out of stock products to the relevant team
- Keeping on top of stock supply needs for daily replenishment and backorders
- Managing tracking for drop ship orders and liaising with drop ship partners
As a small and dynamic team every day is different and having a flexible attitude to daily tasks is essential.
'Jumping in' and supporting other members of the team may be required from time to time which will provide valuable knowledge of all areas of the business.

Preferred:

- Customer service background
- Proven work experience overseeing social media accounts
- Knowledge of and experience using Magento
- Completed education to Advanced Apprenticeship (lvl3) or Graduate
