Sales & Purchasing Administrator - Evesham - c£25k.
***My client is an established manufacturing company producing a wide range of products and components for varying different industries. They are looking for an experienced Press Setter to join their team.

The role supports and manages the company's sales & purchasing administration activities.

Interfaces effectively with external customers and internal departments and liaises with external suppliers to ensure 'on time, in full', cost effective delivery of materials to support the achievement of the production plan.


You will:

  • Facilitate, validate, and input all Customer orders/schedules onto Sage 50 system. Provide acknowledgement and continue to validate progress through production to final delivery.
  • Support all departments with indirect purchasing including supplier identification.
  • Initiate quotation process for assigned suppliers and commodities to establish costs, batch sizes & lead times.
  • Investigate queries on deliveries and invoices.
  • Answer supplier queries from internal departments.
  • Raise and issue purchase orders on Sage 50 for required materials, track and confirm purchase order schedules with suppliers and communicate status.
  • Proactively expedite delivery of nonproduction and New Project materials from suppliers to support achievement in project and production plans for customer requirements.
  • Run various Sage 50 purchasing reports, analyse and action as appropriate, communicating any changes where required.
  • Complete any adhoc administration duties including yearend stock take, where required to support the Supply Chain Manager.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience and knowledge of using Sage 50.
  • Will have Purchasing and Sales administration experience.
  • Experience of working with suppliers and the procurement of materials / goods or services from them.
  • Customer focused, demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy and always well organised, a confident team player, quick to learn new skills, an excellent communicator and good data entry skills are all essential.
  • Experience of other internal ERP systems would be helpful.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated and demonstrates drive and a sense of urgency in completing duties, by following through on tasks to completion.

Hours: 35/36 per week, Monday to Thursday 8.00 start until 17.15pm.

You must be UK based and live within a commutable distance of the where the position is located. Sponsorship is not available so you will need to have full leave to remain.
