Office Angels have partnered with a leading provider of funeral services who are seeking a Crematorium Manager to run their new site in Doncaster.

This is a varied role & will involve everything from people management, operations and supporting familiesto ensuring the grounds are kept presentable.

Crematorium Manager

Salary & Benefits:
£31,000pa plus cost of living bonus (£100 a month), stakeholder pension, performance related bonus & commission - total package £33,000pa -£37,000pa.

Hours:
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

Start date:
Interviews to be held in January 2023 with a view to start employment in March 2023

Duties:

  • Supervisory Responsibility, Administrator, Chapel attendant/Cremator Operator, Head of Grounds Maintenance, Organist and Medical Referees.
  • You will be directly responsible to the Operations Director for all operational and management aspects of the memorial park & crematorium. Ensure the provision of a smoothly run, high quality service which conforms in all respects with current statutesand local regulations and guidelines.
  • To install, oversee all systems within the service, covering staff recruitment, health and safety, appraisals and performance.
  • Ensure and maintain high standards in the upkeep or all areas and of the facility.
  • Verify Time Sheets, Order supplies, manage the interchangeability for all roles on the site to achieve maximum effiency
  • Assist personal callers to the office concerning arrangements for funeral service.

What you will need to succeed:

  • A high degree of care and understanding is a major requirement in this role. You will be required to deliver exceptional service and be smart of appearance at all times.
  • Previous managerial and administration experience
  • Strong IT Skills including the use of Excel
  • Good communication skills, selfmanagement, Adaptability, problem solving while maintaining integrity, sensitivity and commitment.
