Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Claims Assessor.
As a Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing insurance claims to determine their validity and accuracy.
This is a crucial role in ensuring that claims are processed efficiently and accurately.Benefits include:

Duties:
- Review insurance claims forms and supporting documentation
- Verify policy information and coverage details
- Investigate and gather additional information as needed
- Assess the validity of claims based on policy terms and conditions
- Determine the appropriate amount of compensation for approved claims
- Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and other relevant parties regarding claim status and requirements
- Maintain accurate records of claims assessments and decisions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely resolution of claims
Experience:
- Previous experience in claims assessment or a similar role is required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in claim assessments
- Proficient in clerical tasks such as data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of insurance policies, terms, and conditions is a plus
