The Fleet Administrator role is responsible for carrying out new vehicle registrations, dealing with vehicles that have been marked as VOR (vehicle off road) as well as chasing updates on MOT's, services and repairs.

The successful Fleet Administrator will play a key part within the fleet team working with multiple departments across the organisation.


The Opportunity:

You will be joining a highly competent and skilled fleet administration department.

This role is great for someone who enjoys administration work, wants to learn about transport industry and develop new skills.

This offers you an opportunity to increase and diversify your knowledge and skills within fleet services.

The Role:

  • Keep all fleet software up to date to deliver 100% asset specification and location
  • To support the company fulfils its legal, regulatory and national minimum standards concerning O licence compliance
  • To ensure that agreed statistics are produced on a period basis to support the stats packs
  • Supporting with all other adhoc administration duties as required
Checking on vehicles that are in for services, MOT's and repairs and getting ETA's on when they will be back within the business

  • Onboarding of new commercial vehicles into the business
Responsible for taxing new vehicles and maintaining the tax on existing vehicles.

  • Carrying out driving licence checks

About You:

  • Strong IT skills with the ability to learn and use internal and external systems
  • Intermediate Excel skills, able to do formulas and V-Lookups
  • 23 years administration experience
  • Excellent time management, planning and organising
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage internal and external contacts with diplomacy
