We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to join our client's team. If you are a dedicated professional who is passionate about growing businesses and ensuring customer satisfaction, then this role might be perfect for you. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position includes commission and a car allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Convert New Business Opportunities: Actively search for, target, and secure new business ventures.
  • Generate Customer Meetings: Plan and execute meetings with potential and existing clients to establish and nurture strong relationships.
  • Schedule Targeted Meetings: Maintain a calendar of confirmed upcoming meetings with specific accounts.
  • Deliver Exceptional Account Management: Offer top-tier service to both new and existing clients, surpassing their expectations.
  • Achieve and Exceed Sales Targets: Propel sales and consistently meet or exceed targets.
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Cultivate enduring relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
  • Maintain a Prospective Client Pipeline: Establish and manage a pipeline of potential clients to ensure a continual stream of new business.
  • Resolve Customer Concerns: Serve as the main point of contact for clients to promptly and effectively address any issues.
  • Ensure Smooth Business Implementation: Oversee the seamless execution of new business contracts until services are delivered.
  • Promote Company at Awareness Days: Participate in customer site events to raise awareness of the company and offer insights on services.
  • Deliver Engaging Presentations: Develop and present detailed presentations to new and existing accounts regarding our waste services.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Business Development and Sales Expertise: Extensive background in business development and sales, with a track record of achieving and surpassing targets.
  • Drive and Enthusiasm: High motivation, enthusiasm, and ability to understand and meet client needs.
  • Negotiation and Closing Skills: Exceptional negotiation and closing abilities, with a strategic sales approach.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills, capable of delivering engaging content.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: Positive and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Professional and Approachable: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • IT Literate: Proficient in technology to enhance productivity.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Customer Focused: Committed to exceeding customer expectations.
