Hays are recruiting on behalf of a one-form entry primary school in Blackburn. The school is OFSTED outstanding with an excellent local reputation and established senior leadership team.

They are searching for a Year 2 Teacher to cover a long-term staff absence,beginning immediately until the end of the academic year.

Hays acts as the school's exclusive recruitment partner for all day-to-day, long-term, and permanent positions.

Your new role
In your role as a Year 2 Teacher, you will take on full-class responsibility from day one. This will involve the planning and preparation of lessons across the Year 2 curriculum.

The class is made up of 31 pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds, with goodbehaviour and no major SEND requirements.

You will have the support of an experienced Teaching Assistant in this role.

Pay will range from £100 per day for newly qualified teachers, and up to £135 per day for experienced teachers.

This is negotiable and we can discuss further at interview. This role is a long-term illness cover, for a minimum of 6 months.
