- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement ageappropriate activities and learning experiences
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Monitor children's development and report any concerns to parents or supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area
- Collaborate with other nursery practitioners and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors in a calm and effective manner
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
