Overview:


We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper (Walking Floor) driver for our client in the Blantyre area.

As a Tramper driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods using a walking floor trailer. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have experience in commercial driving and enjoy being on the road.

Duties:

  • Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles with a walking floor trailer
  • Transport goods to various locations as assigned
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
  • Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 license
  • Previous experience driving flatbed or walking floor trailers preferred
  • Proven track record of safe driving
  • Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good physical stamina for loading and unloading goods

Benefits:
