The role invloves the following shifts, 8- 5, - 6 or - 6 on a - 5 day flexible basis.


Duties will include working as a member of a large team and supporting the learning, development and wellbeing within the setting.

We are looking for someone highly motivated, with good communication skills and a drive to learn and develop. Energy and bubble is definitely something we look for in our staff and someone who enjoys a positive outlook.


Home from Home Nursery on Grand Avenue in Worthing has been open for 7 years with 120 children attending each day.

HfH is warm and friendly set in a large Victorian house with original features to include stained glass windows and high ceilings with cornicing.

A large half acre garden wraps around the building with allotment, potting house, beach and forest areas. Upstairs we accommodate our under twos and downstairs is our 2-3 year old space. Our Preschool consists of 3-5 year old's in their own building spread over two floors. Children enjoy lots of free-flow roaming and playing both indoors and out whatever the weather.

Ratios of two children to every one staff member exist for our under twos which allows for regular trips to the seafront, train station and parks.

Home from Home follows a safe recruitment process and we are fully committed to a robust safeguarding procedure. All successful applicants must provide at least 2 references and a DBS check will be performed.
