Hessle and Hill Top, United Kingdom Spectrum Full time

Job Summary

At Spectrum we are always looking to improvealways looking to surround ourselves with great people and bring in new talent who can think of things we've never thought of and add something that we don't have.

We have created an opportunity for someone with experiences in Customer Service and administration to become a dedicated Supply Chain Coordinator within our busy Support Team.

Our business is built on a rich history of providing award-winning customer service to organisations throughout the UK that have purchased print and photocopying devices from us, and to whom we provide a Managed Print Service.

This is where we manage and maintain their equipment for the duration of their contract with us very much like a boiler service agreement you may have at home, whereby if anything goes wrong, you ring your service provider and they send and engineer to get you back up and running again.

With this kind of service agreement, there are times when parts are required. In our business, customers need printer parts and, more regularly, toner and ink to keep their machines going.

This Supply Chain Coordinator role has been created to give someone responsibility for ensuring all of our customers' toner stock levels are properly maintained, and the role will involve the use of IT systems and the need to be in regular communication with our valued customer base.

But we also want fresh ideas on how things can be improved, as we look to make our customers' experience of Spectrum even better.

We treat every single customer as an individual and aim to provide a positive experience to everyone we speak to and provide services to.

What we're looking for is someone with a genuine passion and drive to be part of our successful team, that can help us maintain the highest standard of customer satisfaction.

This position will suit a highly motivated, ambitious, and experienced person; someone who is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service within a Support environment.

We are extremely passionate about our Company values which include a first-class customer experience. We want someone who can collaborate, who shows courage and takes ownership with great integrity.

The individual we are looking for should live and breathe these values and will put the customer at the heart of every decision they make.

Undoubtedly, our Support Department is one of the most important aspects of our business. They work closely with all other departments and provide the impeccable service that our customers pay us for.

By fostering open channels of communication with customers and colleagues, in an environment in which ideas can be shared, every member of our Support Team has an impact that shapes the entire customer experience.

What we're looking for

The role would suit someone who is well organised, has the ability to multi-task and enjoys working in an environment where teamwork is absolutely essential.

Excellent communication skills with a range of stakeholders is essential.

Organisational skills and self-motivation are key, as is the ability to treat each customer as an individual and deliver a tailored response on each call.

Main Duties

  • Building positive relationships effectively and efficiently with customers.
  • Handling daily inbound calls from customers.
  • Being able to work within Company procedural guidelines.
  • Logging service calls.
  • An ability to multitask, using multiple systems whilst conversing with our customers.
  • Keep the customer informed of outstanding service requirements.
  • Numerical and computer skills, with a high level of dexterity when logging customer calls.
  • Providing general ad hoc support to the team.

  • Competitive Remuneration
  • Health & Dental Plans
  • Birthday Day Off
