Metal Finishing Specialist at AEM

• Responsible for Chrome, Nickel, Cadmium, Silver, Tin, Copper, Phosphate, Heat Treatment, Non Destructive Testing, and other associated processes within the Metal Finishing section
• Perform Electroplating, Aqueous cleaning, masking, and degreasing tasks on a variety of components from different aircraft platforms
• Support Metal Finishing Supervisor and Team Leader in day-to-day operations
• Monitor stock levels for chemicals and consumables
• Assist with machine maintenance and training of the team
• Adhere to AEM's Behaviours for the Metal Finishing Team
• Implement initiatives to enhance manpower utilization and process improvement
• Ensure quality standards are always met
• Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement and maintain housekeeping
• Communicate effectively within Metal Finishing and MPBU Operations
• Improve safety measures and address safety issues within the team
• Maintain plant and equipment
• Support the team in achieving strategic objectives
• Adhere to industry QA rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in engineering/metal finishing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
