Camden, Greater London, United Kingdom Mind in Camden Full time
Job description

Part-time hours per week

Fixed term contract until April 2023 with strong probability of renewal

Help people with mental issues get the support they need to get well.
Mental health issues can affect anyone at any time in their life. When they do, we're here to transform outcomes. At Mind in Camden, we provide in-person and online support that gives people better futures.

You can be at the heart of our vital mission and build an exciting career in one of the most vibrant and cultural parts of the capital.

Strengthening the passionate team in our Social Prescribing Service, you will conduct one-to-one sessions with clients referred by healthcare professionals to ensure access to community services and support groups.

Your personalised development plans will be central to transforming service users' wellbeing and accelerating their mental health recovery, so you will enjoy all the satisfaction of shaping lives and futures.

Experienced in face-to-face counselling and advocacy, you will possess some experience of mental health services as an employee or volunteer, backed by good understanding of the challenges our clients face.

A background in community work would be very useful, as would formal training in motivational interviewing, but more importantly you will be familiar with partner agencies and their activities, capable of delivering real insight with your assessments, and deeply dedicated to getting people back on their feet.

In return, we offer excellent conditions of employment, including generous annual leave and a pension scheme with 5% employer contribution and an excellent Employee Assistance Programme.

Closing date: 1.00pm on 7 March 2023.

Interview date: 20 March 2023.
**Second round interview: 27 March 2023.
