We are seeking Front of House staff members with or without experience with great passion for traditional Japanese food.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers and escorting them to their tables.
  • Familiar yourself with the menus including the ingredients, method of cooking and taste for individual items, and the Company's online ordering and paying systems
  • Answer enquiries about menu items, and making recommendations based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
  • Help customers in ordering food and beverage with the Company's apps. In the event any customers are unable or unwilling to use the Company's apps, take their orders accurately and efficiently, using the restaurant's point of sale system.
  • Ensuring that orders are prepared correctly and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Check on customers throughout their meals to ensure satisfaction, and promptly addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, adhering to UK laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and making accurate change.
  • Clean tables after customers leave and set up tables for new customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar and dining area, including all equipment, appliances and utensils.
  • Check cleanliness of dining/bar tables and utensils and set tables.
  • Upkeep the safety and hygiene standard of our food product.
  • Be vigilant to personal safety and health of yourself and your colleagues at all times.
  • Escort customers to leave the Galleries after its closing hour.
  • Wash and clean used utensils
  • Classify and minimise waste.
  • Clean up the restaurant and dispose of all waste daily.
  • Assist regular deep clean of the restaurant.
  • Supervise and train new waiters/waitresses.
  • Collaborate with backofhouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate service.
  • Maintaining a positive and professional attitude, even during highpressure situations.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions, and communicating effectively with the management team.

Requirements:

  • Able to multitask efficiently under pressure
  • Good communication skills and observation
