Absolute Executive Search are partnered with a well established and growing Accountancy Firm who are looking for an Audit Manager to join their team based near Heathrow.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of a portfolio of clients.
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements under FRS102 and IFRS.
- Completing audits with mínimal supervision and within deadlines.
- Management and development of more junior members of the team.
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients as well as new clients.
- Identify business development opportunities with existing clients.
- Maintain a good level of technical knowledge.
Key Requirements:
ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Good working background in an accountancy practice and working in an Audit focused role.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to manage complicated projects and multiple stakeholders.
- Highly organised and can prioritise tasks.
- Strong technical understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
- Good experience in leading group audits and the preparation of consolidated accounts.
- Previous use of CaseWare or Mercia methodologies is desirable.
- Able to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Produces high quality work to a good technical standard.
Salary:
£55000 to £70000 DOE
