Salary:
M- UPS2 plus Expert payment of £1,500 per annum in addition to current salary

Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time Only

Lead Teacher - Maths, Numeracy, Careers & Exams focus

Key duties in addition to current role:
Lead, organise, and coordinate mathematics within the whole school.


Develop maths as a specialist and successful dimension of the academic curriculum offer; reflected by improved progress and outcomes for all pupils.

Provide relevant progress and teaching/learning quality information to SLT as required

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of inservice training.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience of pupils with SEN, SLD/PMLD and ASD
  • Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
  • Experience of managing a range of approaches to behaviour, including managing behaviours that challenge
  • Experience of successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum to students with a wide range of needs.
  • Experience of working in a therapeutic environment
