What you'll be doing;

  • Handson support to the maintenance technician to help with machinery and equipment breakdowns.
  • Ensuring Willet area is clean and tidy.
  • Filter cloth changing and also weekly washing.
  • Participate in all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance on building structure and fittings on site.
  • Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance scheduled within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Maintain safe working practices when operating hand, power, and workshop tools.
  • Reviewing daily work sheets and prioritising tasks accordingly and complete as directed.
  • Painting site.
  • Cleaning site vans.
  • Cleaning the Poly room.
  • Cleaning and emptying office / toilet bins etc at the site.
  • Covering Waste Recycling Operators when they are on holiday / sickness.
  • Covering Class 2 Tanker when the Tanker driver is on holiday/sickness.
  • Complying with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times.

What we're looking for;

  • Educated to GCSE/standard grade level as a minimum.
  • Full/ clean UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience in building maintenance is required
  • Trade qualifications would be advantageous
  • Ability to maintain and repair a range of equipment
  • Speed and efficiency of work
  • Class 2 Tanker experience would be advantageous
  • Good computer skills
