An opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC / Edge Bander Operator to join our team.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Setting and operating CNC
  • Select the appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts onto the machine
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and productivity
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Setting and operating edge bander
  • Working from CAD drawings
  • General Housekeeping duties
  • Working as part of a team
  • Using own initiative

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Aged 18+ due to use of machinery
  • Must be willing to provide cover in other areas of the operation when required

Desirable:

  • Experience of panel saw (training will be given)
  • Experience of cabinet making
  • Experience within the kitchen and bedroom manufacturing industry

Job Type:

£11.00-£12.00 per hour
